Cronje & Yiannas Actuaries & Consultants Ltd, on behalf of a client, a highly respected boutique law firm, is seeking to recruit a motivated and proactive Litigation Lawyer to join their professional team in Nicosia.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough legal research in preparation for hearings, trials, and other court proceedings
  • Drafting pleadings, legal opinions, witness statements, and court documents
  • Advising clients on the merits of their cases, litigation strategy, and prospects of success
  • Supporting senior lawyers in the preparation and conduct of court appearances
  • Liaising professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other third parties
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients regarding the progress and developments of their matters


Requirements

  • A law degree (LLB or equivalent); a relevant postgraduate qualification (LLM) would be an advantage
  • Qualified Advocate and member of the Cyprus Bar Association
  • Up to 3 years' post-qualification experience in litigation
  • Experience in legal drafting, legal research, and court advocacy
  • Sound knowledge of Cyprus civil procedure and the litigation practices
  • Strong analytical thinking with close attention to detail
  • A high level of responsibility, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English     

 

Remuneration & Benefits

A competitive and attractive remuneration package will be offered based on qualifications and experience, including

  • Annual Gross Salary in the range of €17,000 – €23,000
