Cronje & Yiannas Actuaries & Consultants Ltd, on behalf of a client, a highly respected boutique law firm, is seeking to recruit a motivated and proactive Litigation Lawyer to join their professional team in Nicosia.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough legal research in preparation for hearings, trials, and other court proceedings
- Drafting pleadings, legal opinions, witness statements, and court documents
- Advising clients on the merits of their cases, litigation strategy, and prospects of success
- Supporting senior lawyers in the preparation and conduct of court appearances
- Liaising professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other third parties
- Maintaining regular communication with clients regarding the progress and developments of their matters
Requirements
- A law degree (LLB or equivalent); a relevant postgraduate qualification (LLM) would be an advantage
- Qualified Advocate and member of the Cyprus Bar Association
- Up to 3 years' post-qualification experience in litigation
- Experience in legal drafting, legal research, and court advocacy
- Sound knowledge of Cyprus civil procedure and the litigation practices
- Strong analytical thinking with close attention to detail
- A high level of responsibility, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Computer literate, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
Remuneration & Benefits
A competitive and attractive remuneration package will be offered based on qualifications and experience, including
- Annual Gross Salary in the range of €17,000 – €23,000
