Cronje & Yiannas Actuaries and Consultants Ltd, on behalf of its client, a well-established and reputable international debt recovery firm, is seeking to recruit a highly articulate and diplomatic Debt Collection Specialist to join its professional team in Nicosia.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing debt recovery cases, engaging with debtors, and negotiating repayment solutions professionally and in an amicable manner. The role reports directly to the Head of the International Debt Recovery Department. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and obtaining accurate contact information for debtors and establishing effective communication channels 
  • Building rapport and trust with debtors, ensuring all information regarding outstanding debts is communicated clearly and transparently
  • Negotiating repayment plans and achieving mutually beneficial resolutions 
  • Liaising with clients, responding to enquiries, and providing informed recommendations on case handling
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and service standard

 


Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree will be considered an advantage 
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field of debt collection or a similar client-facing role 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally while maintaining high client service standards
  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and influencing skills 
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a proactive attitude and sound judgement 
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy 
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken

 

Remuneration & Benefits 
A competitive and attractive remuneration package will be offered based on qualifications and experience, including:

  • Annual Gross Salary in the range of €20,000 – €26,000 (paid in 13 instalments)

  • Working hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 | Friday 08:00 – 14:00
