Cronje & Yiannas Actuaries and Consultants Ltd, on behalf of its client, a dynamic accounting and consulting firm, is seeking to recruit a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its professional team in Nicosia.
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager of the Audit & Tax Department and will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s day-to-day operations. This is a great opportunity for an early-career-stage professional to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Recording accounting transactions in a complete, accurate, and timely manner
- Communicating and liaising with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Preparing supplier, bank, and other reconciliations
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of VAT and tax returns
- Processing client payroll
- Preparing reports and providing support to management as required
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- ACCA part-qualified (early stage of qualification) are encouraged to apply
- A minimum of a year of relevant experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and analytical abilities
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with the Esoft accounting program will be considered an advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Greek languages
Remuneration & Benefits
